Written by Alicia Radford and published in 2015.
On October 9, 2005, a group of freshmen at Middlebury College in Vermont decided to adapt the game of quidditch from the Harry Potter novels for the real world. Just ten years later, the sport had grown more rapidly than they could have imagined.
This limited edition, commemorative coffee table book chronicles the rise of quidditch from the perspective of the organizers, players, and photographers who have shaped the sport into what it is from 2005-2015. Quidditch Turns Ten is a hardcover, 10x13 inch 124-page full-color book, with gold foil on the cover and thick interior pages.
Featuring stories and recollections from Alex Benepe, Katie Stack, Justin Bogart, Michelle Cantos, Laurie Beckoff, Dan Hanson, Becca DuPont, Bryan Bae, Mollie Lensing, Hannah Lindgren, Tegan Bridge, Kedzie Teller, Will Michels and more; and the photography of Isabella Gong, Michael E. Mason, Nicole Harrig, Will Michels, Steve Mease, Jessica Jiamin Lang, Bernard Taylor, and many more.
